Assignment 10 - Environment Design

This assignment is all about designing and drawing out an environment based on a building in Manchester. I have chosen the Hilton hotel which is well known in Manchester; I have used the hotel to create the idea of an elevated prison, which will have a Victorian/gothic design or feel. The difficulty with this assignment will definitely be making sure that the whole building is in perspective, and also because of my choice of aesthetic design it will make the perspective even more difficult to keep in check.
     I will be using various sources and Google images to look up and take influence to design the look of the building, I will also be looking at the Manchester town hall as it has an actual gothic feel to it.

     This is the final design of the Hilton inspired prison; I like the overall design that I have given it but I think there is more I could add to it, to make it far more gothic style and exemplify how grim this building would actually be.
